The Dorking Wine Festival will take place at Dorking Halls on 22nd and 23rd September, with a session on the Friday evening from 7pm-11pm, an afternoon session of the Saturday from 12pm-4pm and a final session of the Saturday evening from 7pm-11pm.
The festival will feature over 140 international wines, including Champagnes, Cavas, Proseccos, English sparkling wines, still wines at various different price points in addition to Port, Madeira and Sherry, all alongside wine experts and producers. In addition, there will be live music, concessions, food, money off-wine vouchers, wine talks and more.
Local wines and producers will also feature with their own special section to celebrate the strength and diversity of wine production in this area. These will include Albury Vineyard (nr Guildford), Blackdown Ridge (Haslemere), and Greyfriars (Puttenham). In addition, there will be a local gin bar and local beer and cider will be available for non-wine drinkers.
At the event, a tasting measure of wine costs a minimum of one token, with some of the more expensive wines costing up to three tokens. Extra tokens will be available to purchase on the day. Entry to each festival is just £10 per session if booked in advance, with wine tokens also available at a reduced price when booked together. Group rates will also be available for parties and larger bookings.
Tickets are available to buy online at www.vantagepointevents.co.uk or via Dorking Halls.
