About Us

VantagePoint Events has been set up as a joint venture between Steve Page from Celebration Drinks and Stefan Reynolds and Marcus Atkins from Vantage Publishing to arrange a number of exciting and popular consumer focused events in the local area. The first of our events are the three Wine Festivals we will be running in Farnham, Guildford and Dorking in 2017, with more, and varied, events planned thereafter.

Celebration Drinks
Celebration Drinks was started in 2009 by Steve Page, who has had over 20 years events and hospitality experience. Based near Godalming in Surrey, Celebration Drinks operates anywhere it is needed, although 95% of its work seems to take place in Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire.
Steve is supported in his role by a great management team and fantastic event staff, all of whom are still hand picked by Steve himself for their professionalism, friendliness and general suitability to the roles they play. All bar and event staff have in-house training before heading out on events. All event and bar managers are also trained in basic first aid, conflict management, general event management skills and of course have lots of previous event experience.

Steve organises the annual Guildford Beer Festival for Guildford Cricket Club, which he started in 2010. Now attracting over 4,500 people, with great live music tent, great catering and other attractions, it is the second largest public event in the town after the County Show.

Vantage Publishing Limited
Vantage Publishing was also started in 2009 and is the publisher of VantagePoint, the only Royal Mail delivered local community magazine that goes to all 117,500 homes in Cranleigh, Dorking, Farnham, Godalming, Guildford, Haslemere, Leatherhead, Midhurst and Petworth, as well as the villages in between. Founded by Stefan Reynolds and Marcus Atkins, the five VantagePoint magazines have now all established themselves as the very best source of local information and community events coverage, as well as great promoters and supporters of local businesses, charities and community organisations.

Stefan has the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Intermediate Diploma in Wines and Spirits, which he passed with a Distinction, making it by some margin his most successful examination.
